Today i dedicate this blog to the very envious yet very much talked n "copied" ( if i may put it bluntly) about the HIGH STREET STYLE of PARIS. We know from a common girl to aspiring fashionista PARIS is "THE" destination of high street fashion.And cummon whom we r kidding ,  don we all want to look like DIVA one way or the another?? Well I DO ;) ..So what ifi don have PARISIAN Hough Glass figure or can trut in  Louboutin or Jimmy Choo's ( errr...no offence to those who do ) but ya even like any gurl, who loves to get updated abt latest FASHION scenario , wheather  it is Chick-boho style of NEW  YORK or High Street Parisisna style, i do aspire to at-least get inspired by them.. :)

Hence, without much ado, i present you 7 SECRETS OF HIGH STREET of PARISIAN STYLE.Here are some top tips that i have read in an expert published in Local daily . Author- Ines De LA Fressange in her book- PARISIAN CHIC has pointed out a very tongue n cheek 7 secrets to trott like High street Parisian fashionista's.

Tip 1 - 


Accessorise - Keep your wardrobe MINIMAL  (  even though whn i frst read this i was like WHAT r u kidding me :P )..But seriously, a good investment of a nice Pair of  SHOE and HANDBAG is all what it takes to be chick n stylish. oh and SMILE :). You can carry off anything with a good smile :)

Tip 2 -

Never ever neglect your-self.And with this i totally agree.( PS- yesterday only  i had my Spa session n had amazing time in getting my self pampered hehe ). On a serious note- Don't get stuck in a style you wore in your 30's.Else u will age instantly.For those above 50's plz plz steer clear yourself of FUR..( ahem ahem i hope any one of the PAGE-3 fakes r reading this..)

Tip 3 - 

Stock yourself ( "belt it!!") with BLAZER ( Burberry , if possible (don i wish dat!!!*sigh*-otherwise any nice fitted trench coat would DO), NAVY sweater ( looks more sophisticated than plain black-hmm didnt know dat) and TANK TOP ( " a classy Supporting act")


PS- Navy blue sweaters looks superb on GUY's as well.Breaks the monotony of basic Blacks and Grey's.




Tip 4 - 

Not to forget LBD's - Little black Dress ( which reminds me i have NONE, cuz sum1 has to have a body to fit into one and that sum1 has to first start gymming..hmmmm :( :(  ) As perfectly said, Its not an item of clothing , its a CONCEPT.
The "Perfect" jeans( which i have to find YET)."like SALT,they go with EVERYTHING.
And Finally, a LEATHER JACKET.




Tip 5 - 

Mix styles and NEVER coordinate.Reject to much of BLING.Explore new labels and worship NO ONE.Look for a good cheaper alternative .


Tip 6 - 

Try venturing into the Mens-wear department-Its usually very good.(and also nowadays we are seeing this new Boyfriend jeans,shirt treandz anyways, which i think is suppa cool)


Tip 7 - 

Wear your Style-.Their are a lot of women ( and your's truly aswell :( ) who think it's not possible to go without high heels.Well, nobody cares that much.Just wear your style and be happy :)

MIA and back with BANG....

Heyya all...for quite sometime i was MIA due to various reason..some good and some bad..:( but no worries as i am back with BANG..yiippeess and what awsum way to be back is by posting my blog about  my shopping spree  at FOREVER 21 and Lifestyle,Vasant Kunj..

And ohh boy!!!!,what a day it was.Hence,without further ado and sparing ya all from my ramblings :P,below are some pics taken of my accessory HAUL.Hope you enjoy it as much as i was while buying them..;)

Got this super cute Floral bag from FOREVER 21 to store my cute accessories that i am about to reveal..:)

And here it is...as u can see i got theses accessories in such color / combination that i can team them up with each other and look funky all the same.. colors dat i picked were combination of baby pink ( ya ya now u all know what my fav colour is :P ), beige,gold and bronze.i..And in Below pics you can see wht i am talking about:

As you can see in both above pics..i can team these accessories with each other flawlessly because of der color combination..CLEVER.. ;) ;) 

Aren't des rings super cute..ohhh and wish next time dey have something like this in more colors..

And my me wearing my Bracelet dat i can team with any color earings due to its  multi-colored strings..( ain't my world COLORFUL..;) ;) )

This beauty in red,black,white i picked up from PANTALOON..And its so cute and can be teamed with with any damn thing because of its play of colours and its METAL..

Got this metal ear-rings from LIFESTYLE store and can be teamed with any of my ethnic wear or Kurtis..ain't it cute.. :) 

well,got this stripes Top from LIFESTYLE as was serching for something in stripes for like ages..( and FYI,stripes r sooo IN guys..and MUST HAVE in your wardrobe according to various fashion glossies!!! )

Phew...welll this was all about my day out and about..and didn't i mention somewhere above..lemme see...ohh yaa i am back with BANG...yiipeesss ;)

Colorful Bangles and Goodies!!!!

Hey ya all out there...Well as usual my day started with same ole' routine.But what a surprise i got when i came back..My mom got me these awsum colorful wooden bangles along with two cute and very very funky goodiess...Yayyyeessss.:) ..She sure made my otherwise monotonous and obvious boring and slacked day :P..into a very colorful and happy to boot day.:)..So below are few Pictures of my Goodie's  that i suppa excitedly clicked .Hope you all like it.:)

She got me some very funky-colored bangles (which i was totally lusting about and bugging her to get me some for like ages!!!!)Their are two sets .One round shaped and another are like Disc shaped (suppa exited to wear them tomorrow in office and cheering INDIA all the same..wooohooo...:)

Well OK..i couldn't resist my self  and i HAD to wear them and check for myself as how supper duper i was looking after wearing them...Cant help a gurl trying sumthin new naaa..;)

And yes there  is more....

I am totally blown away by this supper , cool and cheek looking Vintage style "Batua" or rather small Penny Purse my mom hunted for me.I mean i do not know how it might look in the Picture but guys when you see that thing it looks a piece of art....So louuuu my mom..:)

And last but definitely not the least a very cute looking hand-mirror and that to in my favorite color PINK!!!!!!

Hello all the fashionista's or i dare say "Style Junkies" out there...This is my very first attempt in this exiting medium of Blogs and Post....So "DRUM ROLL and FIRE WORK".:P.. This is just a TEASER guys .So be kind.Hence sharing my this month's "MINI HAUL" with all you .Below i would be giving Break-UP of these products.And as for review and Swatches,Guys ..i am taking baby step for this and will sure post review for all these Products ASAP.


My "Mini" Haul :P- Last Week was feeling bit under Pressure due to some Hard-Hitting deadlines at work and some other reasons as well.And i did what any Girl  of "ANY" age would do to pep up her weekend . Yes,i did go for my very own "MOOD UPLIFTING CUM SHOPPING CUM HAPPY HAUL" :)And bitten by this BLOGGING BUG , (i m suppa exited and nervous..:P), would be showing what i got.My haul includes mix of some very KNOWN BRAND and also have included brands which i have not seen so far but    are creating quite a UNDERGROUND FAN of its own.These brands i label as "WORD OF MOUTH BRAND"


Below is my Break up along with Pictures (PS-Pictures quality would be not that Great as taken them in Jiffy..:P)




1.Street Wear Nail color - got three funky colors in -
"Shazzy" -  Bronzish tone with sparkles.
"Grape Shimmer" -  purplish again with having hint of sparkle
"Copper Charisma" 

2.JUICE-Nail Enamel-  Do Not know about origins of this particular brand.But got HUGE response/reviews about it.And it cost dirt Cheap-50Rs ONLY!!!
(In above pic its is standing at fourth position..:)).Will review with swatches ASAP.
I got my self -" Spark-#52"- purpulish-Goldenish coloured JUICE...(ya ya i have this fixation with COLOR PURPLE..:P)


3.Street Wear - Top Coat. (Needed a top coat BADLY!!! and SA told me that it can be used as both Abse and Top coat-*a must if you want your nails to be healthy and not get affected by harsh chemicals used in these nail enamels)

Now,as you can see in above attached Pic, i got my -self(or rather was again swayed buy buying something new  and shimmery make up..:P ) funky looking "Glam Shine Eyeliner" from VOV.


4.VOV- Glam shine eyeliner (Rs !50-again dirt cheap,now only the review would let us know whether iit was worth buying though the colors shown by SA wwre so tempting..:) )
Got  4 colours-
"Maroon starlight"
"Romance" - Pinkish 
"Indigo"
"Green Tea"
Each of them have sparkling/shimmery effects.

5.MISS CLAIRE - Glimmersticks for eyes.Again,a new kid in block. Well again a "Word of Mouth" brand.Have read good reviews about this particular brand in various blogs.Though i have not see any thing beyond eyeshimmer sticks of this particular brand but SA told me it is pretty much giving competition to the existing brands of eyecolor pencils such as VOV .its priced RS 60) ( As there is no MRP mentioned on it so each counter is selling accordingly with different price tag and was also being told that it is a Korean brand..well doesnt matter unless it shows good result)
6 colors-"sea green","sterling blue","bronze","copper""deep brown","brown suede"


Phew...now that was not so bad.Hmmm..so guys do let me know how my first Blog fared up.(PS-Do suggest me how can i improve or incorporate new ideas and designs.. thanks:)
